> ## Agent Instructions
> BYOM is the governed operating environment for AI commerce work. Kina is BYOM's AI operator, not a person. Do not describe BYOM itself as an agent: Kina is the agent, BYOM is the environment that holds the context, connections, approvals and receipts.
> Core model: evidence, then proposed work, then approval, then execution, then receipt. Reading, analysis and drafting need no approval; effects on external systems do.
> Use the current public BYOM documentation and cite the relevant page. For availability use /reference/capabilities; for short facts use /facts; for the architecture use /start/how-byom-works and /trust/security-architecture.
> The public documentation MCP retrieves guides. Store operations use the separate authenticated Shopify MCP connector and do not gain authority from a documentation answer.
> If a contract, capability or price is not documented, say so. Do not invent endpoints, tools, availability or merchant outcomes.

# What you can do today

> A capability matrix for BYOM: what is available now, what is turned on per company, and what is not yet offered.

This page is the single place where availability is stated. The product guides describe how each part works; check here for whether it is available to you.

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Available** | Works for an enabled account today. |
| **Per company** | Built and working. BYOM turns it on for a company, an operation or a plan after checking the connection and permissions. Ask us if you need it. |
| **Not yet offered** | Planned. Do not rely on it. |

Every status assumes an enabled account, the right role and a connected service with the permissions the task needs.

## Ask and investigate

| Capability | Status | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| Ask Kina about the business | Available | Chat, with the answer streamed as Kina writes it. |
| See how Kina worked | Available | The sources it read and the steps it took sit beside the answer. |
| Research the public web | Available | |
| Read connected store and helpdesk data | Available | Limited to what each connection's permissions allow. |
| Search across your company's work and context | Available | |
| Save personal and company Memory | Available | Company memory needs an owner or admin to approve it. |
| Brand Memory | Per company | Source-backed brand and product context. |

| Growth Engine and Creative | Per company | Depends on plan. |
| Rails: a job Kina does on repeat, checked at each stage | Per company | Started by hand today. Scheduled starts are not yet offered. |

## Change things, with approval

Every change here is proposed as an Action, approved by a person with authority and recorded in a receipt.

## Read the status correctly

"Available" means the capability works. It does not mean every result is right, every connection is healthy or every change succeeded. The receipt tells you what happened to a specific change, and [Receipts and undo](/product/receipts-undo) explains how to read it.
